Tremendous handcraft

The following two dresses were ordered by Loretta and Mirenda Lok, two chinese clients of mine for the wedding of Loretta in Hong Kong.
The bridal gown was inspired in the dress worn by Drew Barrymore in the movie " Ever After": a mediaval shilouette with puffed sleeves and a middlelength train. The whole dress is made of champagne coloured silk and glass organza and is highly decorated with silver lace aplications.
Quite a tremendous handcraft!!!

 

 Mirendas dress is not less decorated with different laces and velvet bands on a base of  deep purple silk combined with a chunky cotton lace.

The wedding took part in winter time so also for this dress we chose long wide sleeves and an A-shilouette.

 

It was quite an interesting expierience to hit the "asian" taste of these two women! 
But finally they were very happy with the results!
